I always like when I can see the steps of an image. It's very interesting to see how some works are created.
You start with a shadowed and almost complete version, most people start with a rough sketch. How long does it take you to create the first step?
I always need to start with pencil on paper x)

Actually there was a loose line art at the beginning. Getting then to step one took me about 30mins i think :).

I wish I could draw with tablet as well, sketches would be so much faster =)
